About Borgue School
Borgue Primary School is a school in a small village called Borgue in the South West of Scotland. There are around 40 pupils. It is over 200 years old and in 2002 it had its 200th anniversary. We did some very exciting things to celebrate the schools anniversary. You can read about one of them on our special events page. This year we are doing lots of things to do with Eco Schools. Some are very exciting. Have a look around our website and see what we are doing!

Borgue Eco Schools Awards We are involved in a project called Eco Schools. There are three awards - Bronze, Silver and Green Flag. We have got the Bronze and Silver awards at the moment. We are hoping to get the Green Flag by the end of May. Eco Schools is an attempt to make our world a better place to live by involving hundreds of schools in Scotland in eco activities like saving energy or water, improving recycling, developing school grounds or changing our lifestyles by making them healthier. Our school is working particularly on grounds developments, health, littler and energy. In these pages you will fing out more about what we are doing. We have adopted the motto "Think globally, act locally." So we have got four areas to our Eco Schools project that you can have a look at. You can also see the plans we have made and find out about our school audit. Try the links at the side and these below.
